Charlotte Imagination

This time, I tried to direct her narration just slightly by interjecting exclamations of my own and asking things like, "And then what happened to the ......?" or "Why did it do that?" etc.  But I won't do that again because it seemed to stress her out more and she didn't want to cooperate with the process.

Just because she's adorable. Oh the trouble she can get into!

Last week, I didn't need clean up my room because there wasn't anything on the floor.  Things don't supposed to be on the floor.

This week, people are not dead! People went in caves-es.  People went in one cave, nobody else.  Just one guy went in the cave because there was a big, huge dinosaur out there.  The big huge dinosaur was gone in his gate and people were in the gate and the dinosaur ate the people again.  The dinosaur got eaten by a tiny, little dinosaur.  Him got eaten all up.  I proved the little one did it.  it's a boy dinosaur......  A little one........  Tiny......

Somebody went squishing with me all in the van.  Every kid wants in the van and all big people want in the van.  The whole van explodd!  Then we maked it again and it was okay.  Then there was a little, tiny dot on the street. Then people was off the street.  None cars were on the street eever (either).

We stirred the cookies and the chocolate.

LOL!  I'm not sure where the cookies part came from, but you never know with her.

WHERE does she come up with this stuff?!

This is from when she decided to completely cover herself in diaper rash cream.

This week I saw a lined-ess (no idea). That is a thing that you go and push really hard with your arms and legs and it's really big like a tunnel.  You go through it and knit.  That's a thing where you turn and roll like in the slide.

Then this week Grandpa made up a trophy for me.  This week all this paper went by my trophy and Charles made up a different trophy because the trophy that my Grandpa made, Charles didn't like it so he made golden trophy. I winned the game of the motorcycle game.  I was a very good rider. I dropped my rag in my car.  Yeah, it's a motorcycle car.  Then people was running around in the race because they didn't have cars and they were going really slowly.

There was a tiger in my's life.  He was really bad.  He big me so hard.

This week Norquah was gone.  She was a big momma.  A momma beaver! She did a backflip all by herself but the pups helped her.

Then this week one more girl was gone.  Then all the boys and girls were gone.  They went at Chaumers, the beaver's race.

Oh my wonderful, imaginative child!  Don't ever lose this amazing gift!

Charlotte's Imagination

All the kids are excited about our writing program, which is blowing me away.  Even Wesley who fights writing at every turn asks when we are going to have writing class.  But Charlotte still remains the silly comic and it's fun to listen where her mind goes.  Here is Episode 2.

Trying to get diaper rash cream out of her hair.  Pretty crazy!

"3-14-16
This day, Grandpa and me went crazy.  We was going crazy like.... (she did a silly movement with her head and hands and gibberish) Then he was laughin' and laughin' all by himself.  Then there was a funny name named Carmen.  I found her in a store.  I was walking on the road with Grandma last night and I found her.

This week, Nookey was gone.  Then storm was coming with glasses in the storm. Then Carmen was gone again. Norah gone.  Then horses was gone in my ride.  They all goed to the horse park.  They was runnin' with people on them.  It was a horse park and a man park.  Then Carmen was comin'.  She was at our home.  She was going back to her house.  Nobody saw anything.  So this guy was going church and he didn't know him's wayout because it was dark.  All the lights were off and no one was in there.  Hims was in there.  Then the church was closed up.  Then he knowed his way out because the lights were on.  That's a commercial.  Commercials are really bad.

The glasses went out of the storm.  Then somebody went out there to get the glasses.  Orange glasses.  When they found them, he put them on.  he opened them and put them on like that.  Then the story was over.  Goodbye. Charlotte.

This is gonna be a long, long, long story.  This week all the people that was here was gone.  The goed back home.  They went home with the guns.  Guns are dangerous."

The commercials part cracked us all up!  I'm not even sure how she knows about commercials because we don't have cable.  We have Netflix and a Blu-ray player.  I'm not sure when she would see them.  LOL!  Too fun!

Charlotte's Imagination

Charlotte is a very imaginative three-year-old.  She adds quite a flair to our homeschool day.  The other kids, and me I must admit, can't wait to hear what she has dictated to me for writing class.  Here is her first story from March 8th, 2016.  It's  little gruesome at first, but laugh-out-loud funny.  It's best if you read it out loud in your normal adult voice....it makes it that much funnier.  I will include my own comments in parenthesis. Of course I tried to spell everything as phonetically as I could since I wrote exactly the words she told me.  I didn't add anything to it except the parenthesis.  Charlotte really likes to make up her own words so there is quite a bit of creativity.  Here goes!

"My story was the pirates gonna kill me in five orders.  The pirate was gonna kill me in half with a knife.  Then he tried cutting my head open wide.  Cut my neck and my arms and my tummy and my eyes and my feet and my nose and my butt.  And all that.  The end.

We like-ted Mommy.  The kids like-ted Mommy. Oh, we like her. (in a sing-song voice) Nothing else.

Then there was a big storm and huge.  And with glasses outside in the storm. Then there was a big storm just a little bit.  Then the truth was all over.

Ken comed over to our house.  He's my best friend.

I was killed by "wybers".  It's a place where you live.

Do you have friends?

The boy who lived in Uctual Lively, cuz his name is Oakya. He was havin' a mom and a dad and a grandma and his kids.  He was gonna go then he lied-ed to Mommy.  He said, " I lied-ed about the truth that the Bible said."  He sent his Mommy at home.  His home is pink and purple.  It was five chair in the other room like ours.  He lied-ed to Mommy again.  That was when he got cutted by pirates.  He was pretending to be a mommy while hims mommy was a baby.  God loved him.  He's talkin' like a girl.  He wasn't asking everything to his mommy, he was asking somethin' to his brothers. Then he said, "Look!" to his brothers.  He was looking with 'nocklars (binoculars) at the pirates, cuz the pirates saw him.  He didn't have a knife. He lost his knife.  The wind blowd-ed his knife out of his hand."

LOL!  This is coming from an adorable, three-year-old mind.  My mom says that this story really does come full-circle ending with those violent pirates so it all makes sense.

Can't wait for the next installment!
